What’s the recipe for “clean” data?
A complex process of adding just the right amount of ingredients like file cleaning, merge/purge,
and NCOA and CASS processing, then following it up with a dab of match and append, and topping it
off with a sprinkle of customer processing. That thorough and satisfying data recipe is cooked up
each day by one of MCH’s own data “chefs”—Susan Myler, Production Team Lead.
One of the things Susan enjoys in her
position is communicating with clients so they know what to expect in their data processing. “In
many aspects, we serve as the teacher and our clients are the students; while in other aspects, the
customers are the teacher and we are the students learning more about their unique processes. We
work hard to educate them on how MCH data is compiled and updated, how our internal processes are
constantly improving, and our plan of action for their data so they can achieve their marketing
goal.”
