MCH Strategic Data’s partner organization, edWeb.net helped the Association of Educational Publishers reach out to teachers for their Content in Context Conference that was held in June in Washington, DC. Teachers were asked to submit videos that answered three questions:

• What are you most in need of in order to teach effectively in the digital age?
• What one request would you make of those who create instructional materials to make them digital-classroom friendly?
• How would better digital technology and content in the classroom help you and your students?

Teachers responded enthusiastically and their entries were provocative and creative. Most of the teachers asked publishers to convert more of their materials to digital form that can be easily downloaded. Interactive whiteboards played prominently in many of the videos, and it's clear they are becoming central to classroom teaching in the same way the blackboard has been for generations. Many of the teachers involved their students in the productions with comical results.
