Lisa Schmucki, founder and CEO of edWeb.net has been notified that her company has been nominated for both a Golden Lamp Award and a Distinguished Achievement Award in the Technology and New Media category. Winners will be announced at the annual AEP Awards Banquet on June 8th in Washington, D.C.

The edWeb.net is a professional social networking website for the education community that makes it easy to connect with peers, share information and best practices, spread innovative ideas, and create online learning communities. edWeb can be used by teachers, schools, districts, colleges, associations, and education companies to provide online professional development and promote stronger collaboration in support of educational goals and initiatives.
