MCH has created an updated BudgetAware™ Bulletin. The March 2010 report contains an analysis of the latest economic trends, detailed breakdowns of available stimulus funds, and current state budget outlooks. B2B marketers can utilize the 57-page report to develop a state-by-state strategy to capitalize on the opportunities created by ARRA funding to institutions. In 2010, institutions will spend $107.7 billion in economic stimulus funds—more than double what was spent in 2009. Despite the doom and gloom headlines, economic conditions are stabilizing in many regions.
Since many of our clients have a special focus on education institutions, we have included a chart for each state that shows the amount of money originally allocated to the state by the federal government, the amount the state has disbursed, and the amount of funding remaining to be spent.
